Join Us for Weekly Social Rides with GVORBA!
Looking for a fun, low-pressure way to get out and ride your bike? Want to connect with fellow cyclists in the Greenbrier Valley? GVORBA is launching Weekly Social Rides every Thursday at 6 PM, and you’re invited!
Whether you’re a seasoned rider or brand new to biking, these casual weekly meet-ups are open to all skill levels and all ages. We’ll gather at Greenbrier State Forest (unless noted otherwise on our Facebook calendar) and break out into informal groups based on interest and pace.
What to Expect:
- Meet at 6 PM at the picnic area/playground at the State Forest (past the pool)
- Quick stretch and route discussion
- Break into smaller groups based on experience or goals
- Ride as long or short as you’d like — no pressure, no pace requirements
- Post-ride meet-ups at a local spot for food or drinks (optional but encouraged!)
Don’t have a bike but want to try it out? Contact us — we may be able to help you borrow or rent one for the ride.
Bring your friends, bring your family, bring your questions — we’re here to help. Our team will be happy to suggest routes, check over your bike, and make sure your setup is comfortable.
These rides are all about building community, encouraging new riders, and making biking in the Greenbrier Valley more accessible for everyone.
📍 Check our Facebook events page weekly for the meeting location and post-ride plans. We hope to see you on the trail!
